Kuala Lumpur is a magnet for many global technology companies to establish their presence in the city, as well as local tech startups. With the city’s well-educated and skilled workforce, this presents a great opportunity for Napier to assemble the right team on the ground in the Asia region. As part of the new centre, the technical support team will grow in size by early 2024 in Malaysia, supporting our global clients.

“The Asia Pacific region is a key growth market for Napier,” says Greg Watson, Chief Executive Officer at Napier. “We understand the need to have Napier experts in region and in language to provide the support our customers expect and deserve. We are excited to expand our APAC team and leveraging the excellent technical talent that Kuala Lumpur has to offer.”

Napier’s clients in the APAC region, presently at 50 include, Australia Post, LGIAsuper and Owlting. The rest of our client base can be found in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. The Kuala Lumpur team will bring their expertise and experience in the Napier product set and customer needs and will further strengthen the APAC team and be a dedicated resource to serve customers both locally and on a global basis.

This is the latest investment in the APAC region, following the appointment of several senior leadership hires from across the industry. Napier continues to experience significant growth in APAC, contributing about a third of the total revenue for 2022.

“I am excited for this addition to the APAC team,” says Rob Davies, Regional Head of APAC at Napier. “Napier is now even better positioned to meet the needs of clients throughout the region with the addition of the new team in Kuala Lumpur.”
