Tim and Nigel bring vast experience in international business growth and will support OneID’s recently appointed CEO, Paula Sussex, in driving the company through a period of expansion.

Tim Gregory has enjoyed a highly successful career in the technology sector, from building new businesses to becoming CEO of CGI’s £750m UK business. Now a serial investor in tech start-ups, Tim is Executive Chairman for a data management business, Non-Executive Director for an Insuretech company, and an active member of the ScaleUp Group, which focuses on raising Series A investment for companies looking to scale.

Joining Tim on the board is Nigel Savory. Nigel is a Non-Executive Director at the firm and has more than 25 years of experience in software, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and B2B fintech industries. Nigel has a strong track record of international expansion and a history of building partnerships with many of the world’s largest businesses and banks.

As Managing Director and Chief Product Officer at Bottomline Technologies for more than 20 years, he grew the business into one of the largest B2B SaaS payments businesses in the world, through strong organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Bottomline Technologies was ultimately acquired at a valuation of c$2.6 billion in May 2022. Nigel is now an angel investor and entrepreneurial non-executive director with vast experience in sales, product development, mergers and acquisitions.

Paula Sussex, CEO of OneID, commented: “Tim and Nigel bring a wealth of experience in technology and fintech businesses and join OneID at an exciting time of growth following recent deals with NatWest and DocuSign amongst others. Both have a strong track record in the industry of building partnerships, and growing successful, enduring businesses. I look forward to working closely with them as we build on the momentum generated to date and expand OneID in the coming months.”

Tim Gregory, Board Member at OneID, commented: “Identity technology has huge potential to tackle real-world issues such as fraud and online abuse. OneID is leading the charge for a digital identity service in the UK, and I look forward to working with Paula and the team to grow this business in the coming months.”

Nigel Savory, Board Member at OneID, commented: “Identity technology is ubiquitous across Europe with countries such as Belgium, Norway and Sweden all having functioning digital identity systems. These countries are using it for everything from creating online accounts to tackling identity fraud and improving data privacy. The UK needs to catch up with the rest of Europe and I’m excited to join a firm which is supporting this drive.”
