Genesis Global appoints Jason Jhonson CMO

Genesis Global, the low-code application development platform purpose-built for financial markets organizations, today announced Jason Jhonson as Chief Marketing Officer. Jhonson reports to CEO, Stephen Murphy.

Jhonson’s more than 20 years of experience building world-class brands for pioneering technology companies like Improbable, GitHub, PayPal and Yahoo, will propel Genesis’ own transformative mission to reinvent software delivery in financial markets through its low-code platform. In addition, his leadership in forging deep, authentic connections with developer communities will help Genesis engage with software developers throughout financial services to drive brand strength and business growth.

Jhonson joins Genesis from Improbable, the metaverse technology company. As Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, he built marketing and sales teams from ground up and helped Improbable scale during five years of growth.

He earned his MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.

Jhonson joins Genesis at a time of rapid growth. To date, more than 100 people have joined the firm in 2022.
