PayU appoints Attila Kulcsar as global payment CFO

PayU, the leading online payment service provider operating in 50 emerging markets, has today announced the appointment of Attila Kulcsar as the new Global Payments Chief Financial Officer.

With over 20 years of experience as a senior finance and business executive, Attila has worked across payments, healthcare and retail businesses, including most recently as Regional Finance Director for EMEA and Americas at Euronet Worldwide. Prior to this, he served as CFO of African Clusterat AstraZeneca.

With this experience, Attila will help accelerate the growth of PayU’s Global Payments team. In 2021, PayU witnessed Year-on-Year growth of 34%, achieving $33 billion worth of value processed. Attila will focus on cementing PayU’s position as a leading payments provider creating a world without financial borders where everyone can prosper. In his leadership role, Attila will support PayU as it continues to create a great place to work for its global teams.

Attila’s appointment marks an important milestone in PayU’s growth strategy as it plans further industry heavyweight hires in line with new product launches and investments across emerging markets including in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe.
