Monit, the award-winning mobile financial platform for small businesses, affirmed its commitment to enhance the connections between banks and their SMB customers with a series of senior leadership appointments across the organization.
Rian Stockbower has been named the company’s first Chief Technology Officer, Max Koenig appointed Head of Business Development, Ian Spector introduced as the Director of Customer Experience, and Rusty Hall joined the team as Product Manager.

As Monit’s first Chief Technology Officer, Rian Stockbower brings a wealth of technical and banking experience to the company. He will be responsible for building out the in-house tech team, optimizing the delivery model, and leading integrations with Monit’s banking customers. Previously, Stockbower was responsible for the idea, design, implementation, and team building for First Republic Bank’s internal banking platform. He also led the engineering team at CareStack, a dental practice management startup with 100 engineers, and helped create software at Vistaprint for their manufacturing operating system.
Seasoned in the world of innovation, startups, and fintech, Max Koenig will accelerate engagements with banking customers. Previously Koenig was part of the founding team for Plug and Play FinTech, a leader in helping large corporations innovate. In his new role as Head of Business Development, Koenig will foster relationships with industry players, banking trade groups, and key influencers.
With more than 10 years of experience working with startups and iconic brands, Ian Spector will play an instrumental role as Director of Customer Experience in defining and executing methods to deepen Monit’s understanding of banking and business owner needs. He will also help advance the organization’s bank and business facing features.
Rusty Hall brings over a decade of success working in banking and finance. As a product manager, Hall will lead feature development on the bank side of the platform. This will help bank customers deepen relationships with business owners, and serve business owners more effectively. As a product manager for iKizmet, Hall advanced the organization's product concept and was responsible for product improvement, development, and delivery across the infrastructure.
Monit launched in 2020, and has already won numerous awards and coverage for its technology, including Finovate Best in Show, Aite Spotlight, FinXTechConnect, and has been the focus of articles in American Banker and other publications.
