Visa will begin their six-city Tap-to-Phone journey in Washington, D.C along with Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and Miami.
Paymob acts as a payment rail for mobile business apps. They have built the infrastructure to enable any app to accept contactless card payments. Transforming ordinary smartphones into direct card reading terminals - Without the need for additional connecting hardware. Just a mobile and an app.
Their payment engine is designed to bring a simplified, more accessible means of payment acceptance to the end-user. A fully integrated platform to meet every business challenge through their plug-in SDK (software development kit), white label application, and multitude of additional system components.
“With the ZmBIZI Smartphone integrated with the Paymob SoftPOS we are now able to create the next generation of mobile merchants who are doing ‘business on the go". says Alpesh Patel, Co Founder of ZmBIZI
Kosta Du, Co-Founder and CEO of Paymob comments on the launch;
“We are excited to be expanding our reach to the US through our partner ZmBIZI. This move will allow more independent businesses across the US to accept payments without the upfront costs for external POS hardware, meaning small businesses and gig economy workers can accept card and digital payments quickly, on the go, anytime. This project with Visa is the necessary place to start, enabling those who will feel the benefit of our technology the most.”
Having launched in the US, Paymob now has their sights on the UK and Europe, with plans to launch their cutting edge payment solution very soon through a number of clients, using their technology in the form of an SDK and white label application.
