PCS has teamed with Compass Group Consultants (CGC) to offer PCS Bank Advisor, a service that provides bankers with efficient access to the information and resources they need to easily demonstrate information security compliance.

"Protecting customer information is one of the highest priorities of banks across the nation," said Mark Blankespoor, president of PCS. "Technology is now an integral part of service delivery and this solution offers a one-stop resource to help our clients manage the associated array of information security risks." PCS, a provider of core banking technology, and CGC, an independent information security and information technology audit firm, formed the alliance to help safeguard nonpublic customer information in banks.

Offered as an independent subscription service, the PCS Bank Advisor Web site is available to the PCS client base of more than 750 financial institutions. A subscription offers banks access to the latest technology compliance information and services needed to meet examination requirements. Through the PCS Bank Advisor Web site, complex regulatory requirements are presented in easily understood modules, along with training and detailed sample materials, saving the bank valuable time during development and implementation of technology policies and control procedures.

"We're pleased to be joining forces with PCS," said Compass Group founding partner Stephen Tonn. "Easy access to independent technology compliance information and resources will be invaluable to PCS clients as they implement and evaluate risk-based controls."
