The partnership will see select Perkbox customers gain free access to Aura - dubbed the “Spotify for mindfulness” - providing thousands of meditations, life coaching programmes and stories that are personalised and constantly tailored according to usage and preferences.

Members simply select a mood or topic, choose a programme from over 3,000 tracks created by some of the world’s best coaches and therapists, and then rate the content once completed. Aura uses data science to ensure a completely personalised experience is delivered and fine-tuned over time. Uniquely, its digital experience sets achievable goals and reinforces positive and sustainable habits that enable users to mindfully manage stress, anxiety, sleep, parenting and much more, even within the structure of a typical busy workday.

Saurav Chopra, CEO and co-founder, Perkbox, commented: “The partnership comes at a time where emotional wellbeing has never been more challenged. Quarantine, isolation and remote working have elicited an ongoing level of anxiety in all of us as employees negotiate the demands of their profession, home schooling, parenting, illness and loneliness - with no definite end date in sight. We want to ensure that employers are empowered with the tools to promote emotional and mental wellbeing in their staff. Our partnership with Aura is a commitment to a greater vision of a more holistic approach to employee wellbeing that enriches both personal and working lives, with positive effect.”

Steve Lee, CEO, Aura Health, commented: “The proven benefits of meditation and mindfulness are widely understood, yet many of us still profess that we lack the time to personally invest in this vital aspect of self-care. The current reality has showcased a greater need for emotional wellbeing that can’t be ignored. Aura and Perkbox together will enable thousands of companies worldwide to access our vital resources for mental and emotional health and assist them in finding a safe space and refuge from the stresses of everyday life.”

Aura will be available to Perkbox users on select packages from July 2020.
