Zogo reduces app set-up fee to $0 for credit unions in Louisiana

Zogo, the award-winning financial education company, has reduced its app set-up fee to $0 for all credit unions in Louisiana, thanks to the partnership with Louisiana Credit Union League.

Since launching three months ago, Zogo’s flagship product - a gamified, incentive-embedded financial literacy app - is now being utilized by more than two dozen credit unions of all sizes. It has won both 2019 NACUSO Next Big Idea Competition, as well as Finovate’s Best of Show last fall (2019).

“Many of the current financial literacy programs for young adults have been developed by adults and are not very engaging,” says CEO of Zogo, Bolun Li. “As part of the Gen-Z group, we truly care about our generation’s future and we know how to get the attention of this demographic.”

Li adds that partnering with the Louisiana Credit Union League and providing their member credit unions with the Zogo app at no cost to set up is an ideal springboard for its mission, inspiring the underbanked to become more financially savvy.

“When we learned of Zogo, we knew this was something that needed to be available for all Louisiana credit unions,” says LCUL Senior Vice President of Member Engagement Lacey H. Weaver, CUCME. “Much like credit unions, the team behind Zogo has a mission. Zogo has the unique ability to engage a critical generation while positioning financial education in a modern approach. It is our goal to bring this gamification platform to Louisiana.”

All credit unions affiliated with Louisiana credit union league can visit www.zogofinance.com/lcul to request an onboarding kit to the Zogo platform. They can start using it to engage and educate the next generation of credit union members.
