Mike will lead the UK operations, optimising business processes to support continued growth.

With over 20 years’ experience in operational and IT leadership, as well as business transformation and change management, Mike has previously held senior leadership roles across financial services, telecommunications and IT.

Before joining TransUnion as a consultant earlier this year, Mike was chief information officer for KCOM, the UK-based communications and IT services provider. In his role there he delivered performance improvements across IT, professional services, strategy, business transformation and estates operations, and was a key member of the executive team which grew the value of the business from £50m to more than £500m.

“I’m thrilled to be joining TransUnion’s UK executive team at such a pivotal moment for the business,” said Mike Davies, speaking of his appointment. “Evaluating and optimising our operational processes will enable us to build on the strong foundations we have in the UK, whilst also aligning with our growth strategy as part of a global insights and information provider.”

Satrajit “Satty” Saha, CEO of TransUnion in the UK said: “In his role as chief operating officer, Mike Davies will be responsible for group operations and operational assurance, ensuring the highest standards of service for both our clients and consumers. With his extensive experience, he is a valuable addition to our UK leadership team as we continue to shape the business to deliver sustainable, long-term growth.”
