Vermeg names Paul Thomas as UK general manager
VERMEG, the software services specialist, which provides core technology for managing compliance, regulatory requirements and digital transformation across the banking, wealth management and insurance sectors, has appointed Paul Thomas as UK General Manager.

Paul joins with more than 20 years’ experience in the FinTech and RegTech industry having worked at organisations such as Misys, ION Trading and most recently AxiomSL.
In his most recent role, Paul was responsible for overseeing AxiomSL’s business development for new products in Europe, whilst also leading the global team for ‘Shareholding Disclosure Monitoring and Reporting’.
In his new role, Paul will be part of the VERMEG Executive Committee and will be responsible for sales, pre-sales, professional services and local client support for all industries and product lines in the UK.
Paul will be based from VERMEG’s new London office on Bevis Marks in the City.
VERMEG has significant expansion plans for the UK market and has already won several new client contracts for its regulatory reporting, collateral management and clearing solutions in 2019; as well as further expanding within its existing client base here in the UK. VERMEG offers a broad portfolio of products that provide class leading digitalization solutions within financial services and insurance as well as best of breed solutions for post trade processing and asset management. VERMEG has also recently opened new offices in Brazil and Mexico to meet growing global demand for its specialist software products.
