With this step, Credit Suisse is expanding its mobile payment offering - which already encompasses TWINT and SwatchPAY! - to include a further solution. Additional partnerships to follow.

With Samsung Pay, Credit Suisse is now offering its clients even greater flexibility in online and mobile payments in response to the growing demand for alternative payment options. In addition to the SwatchPAY! payment solution introduced in January of this year, clients will also be able to use Samsung Pay, a solution that can also be used abroad - for example while on vacation - from April 30.

Over the last few years, the ways in which clients execute payments and the methods they employ to do this have changed. Among other developments, the proportion of contactless payments in Switzerland has significantly increased, while cash withdrawals at ATMs are declining. By continuously expanding its offering, Credit Suisse is responding to changing client needs. Credit Suisse is also in touch with other providers to introduce additional payment solutions for its clients.

Since May 2017, clients of Credit Suisse in Switzerland have been able to use the TWINT solution, which is focused on the Swiss market. This solution has firmly established itself in Switzerland, above all as a peer-to-peer payment method, and it is used extensively by younger generations in particular. Credit Suisse remains committed to the TWINT joint venture and will continue to contribute to the further expansion of this solution together with its project partners.
