WebMoney launches VideoID

The video identification can be carried out in any part of the world regardless of the time of day and takes just few minutes. Users only need to have their national identity document and an access to a smartphone or a desktop with a web camera. VideoID replaces the requirement of visiting the WebMoney Verification Centre or the notary for identification purposes.
VideoID will allow users to verify their identity and get more benefits as a user of WebMoney Transfer system, for example higher limits on transactions and the ability to withdraw funds from their WebMoney wallets.
VideoID is the next step in the development of the PhotoID technology. The photo identification was launched by the WebMoney Transfer system in 2012 and as of today, over half a million people have utilised this option.
