The Danish fintech company Lunar Way has recruited banking talent Peter Smith to enter management team. Smith comes from a position as CEO at Nordea Kredit.
Peter Smith is only 37 years old but is already accomplished with many prominent positions within Retail Banking. Since 2016 he has served as CEO of Nordea Kredit, at the same time overseeing development of Housing Finance in the Nordic bank.
Now the talented bank profile can add the fintech company Lunar Way to his resume.
Lunar Way's ambitions have been high from the start, and a lot has happened in the past three years. We have gained 50,000 active users, we have launched our business product, Lunar Way Business, and we are launching in Sweden and Norway. The journey has just begun, and we have now reached a point where someone with skills to help us accelerate our growth is needed, says CEO and founder of Lunar Way, Ken Villum Klausen.
Peter's in-depth knowledge of traditional banking, and his understanding of the underlying infrastructure, will be invaluable in our further development. He is also part of a new generation of bankers who rethink banking. That fits perfectly with the Lunar Way journey. Peter will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to the team, Ken Villum Klausen elaborates.
