Trov, the revolutionary on-demand insurance platform, has announced the appointment of Neil Sands, former Salesforce Chief Experience Officer, as Head of Global Partnerships, with the company continuing to attract Silicon Valley's most talented.
Irishman Neil Sands will be responsible for the expansion of Trov’s non-insurance partner eco-system: creating engagement with points of sale (POS), as well as developing other types of retail and brand partnerships.
Sands is the latest in a series of significant hires and appointments by Trov, with Dane Howard, former eBay Director of Global Brand Experience & Design, joining the team last year, while Ken Rudin, Head of Growth at Google Search, and former Head of Facebook Analytics, joined the Trov board in early 2015.
Throughout his years at Salesforce, Neil Sands oversaw the expansion of Salesforce’s enterprise innovation team Ignite, during which time Salesforce won Forbes’ Most Innovative Company four years running, working exclusively with Fortune 500 companies.
Trov is due to launch in the States in 2017, following a successful roll-out in Australia in May this year, where it is underwritten by insurance company Suncorp. It’s due to roll out in the UK in the coming months.
