Jorgen’s appointment aims to further cement fastacash’s position as a global leader in social payments for businesses. It works with financial services institutions (FSIs) including banks, remittance and money transfer companies, and mobile wallet providers, bringing domestic and cross-border value transfer capabilities through social media.

Jorgen brings over three decades of experience and a proven track record in driving consumer-focused innovation – an area where he has found success for global mobile, telecommunications, and consumer electronics brands. As fastacash’s Chief Innovation Officer, he will lead its innovation agenda, particularly as fastacash looks to expand its product offerings as well as its market presence across Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Vince Tallent, Chairman and CEO of fastacash, said: “In the last four years, the concept behind fastacash has moved away from being simply an idea – starting with just a three slide presentation -- to becoming a global innovator in the lucrative social payments space. Large multinationals, including banks with hundreds of millions of consumers, are looking to fastacash to connect and engage with their consumers through our innovative technology solutions. Appointing a Chief Innovation Officer with the energy, vision and background as rich as Jorgen’s, positions us very well to redefine the way people transact over social networks.”

Prior to joining fastacash, Jorgen was the Head of International Product Management at US-based wearables company Jawbone. He has extensive experience in technology companies including Ericsson, Omnisky Corp, Tactel AB, Mobile 365, End2End A/S, and AliphCom across roles in Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Sales. At fastacash, Jorgen will play a leading role in ensuring the company continues to build consumer-focused social payments solutions that are seamless and driven by the end-consumer’s experiences.
