Chris Landis appointed CEO SIX Swiss Exchange

The Board of Directors of SIX has appointed Christoph Landis as the new Division CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange.

The 56-year-old Swiss has many years' experience of the stock-exchange business. He was appointed to the Management Committee of SIX Swiss Exchange (then SWX) in 2003 and has been responsible for the Operations unit since 2010, becoming Deputy Division CEO in 2012. In addition, Christoph Landis has headed SIX Swiss Exchange on an interim basis since May 2015. Christoph Landis has held various technology-related positions within the Swiss Exchange since 1992. In his role as Chief Information Officer, he made a crucial contribution to the development of the Swiss electronic stock exchange. Under his operational responsibility, SIX Swiss Exchange became one of the world's leading stock exchanges in technology terms.

Christoph Landis steps into his role as new Division CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange with immediate
effect.
