Barclays Stockbrokers is encouraging active traders to use its share dealing services by offering 50 commission free online trades for each different type of account they open during October and November.
The offer also extends to existing clients if they open a different type of account from that which they already hold.
"We are delighted to offer new and existing clients the opportunity to make literally hundreds of free of trades with us, said Rupert Dickinson, Director of Barclays Stockbrokers. "We want to encourage new customers who have not tried our market leading service to do so, as well as persuade existing clients to manage their investments as efficiently as possible perhaps by using SIPP and ISA accounts."
The eligible accounts are:
- MarketMaster/Frequent Traders Club
- Self Select ISA
- Self Select PEP
- Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP)
As the offer applies to each different account opened, a new client could open four different new accounts and enjoy up to 200 commission free trades in total.
If someone already has a standard sharedealing account with us and opens a new Self-Select ISA and SIPP account and also transfers an existing PEP account they might have with another broker, then they would receive 50 free trades for each account, or 150 trades in total.
