Following in the footsteps of FIME America, the Discover accreditation of FIME in EMEA significantly expands FIME’s bandwidth to work with chip and terminal manufacturers to share its expertise, ensuring products achieve successful and efficient certifications.

"FIME has been working with Discover for a number of years so we are delighted to have expanded our capacity to support international manufacturers," comments Vincent Poty, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at FIME. "Compliance to these specifications ensures that Discover and Diners Club cards and terminals operate as intended once live in the marketplace. We predict demand for these services to be high as the deployment of EMV continues globally."

Discover Global Network is the third largest payments network in the world, operating in 185 countries and territories worldwide.

Soumya Chakrabarty, director of research and development at Discover, adds: "As global adoption of EMV continues to gain traction, we are witnessing growing demand for D-PAS products and anticipate further significant uptake in the coming years. Global and experienced partners are essential to support our vendors worldwide as they seek to qualify products quickly.
