Triton's newest full-function, banking ATM model was well received during its unveiling this week at the CIFTEE trade show in Beijing, according to Triton President Brian Kett.
Triton and sales partner, Donar, participated in the event, exhibiting Triton's new FT7000, along with other low-cost, high-quality models of ATMs currently in the Triton line up.
Kett stated that announcements regarding other new product development and innovation from Triton will be made in the coming months, despite the two-week interruption in business due to Hurricane Katrina.
"The launch of the FT7000 introduces a completely new line of terminals, designed to meet the requirements of any financial institution, large or small," said Kett. "It's also another example of our continuing commitment to provide innovative products that exceed customers' expectations."
James Phillips, Senior Manager of Triton's Financial Institution Sales, called the FT7000 the easiest, full-function ATM to configure, customize and support.
"With a total cost of ownership far less than traditional offerings, the FT7000 can help you expand your ATM network without breaking your budget," said Phillips. "The design of the 7000 family allows for easy configuration of your ATM estate to match the needs of your customer base today, yet be ready for any upgrade in the future."
The FT7000 platform is based on an industrial grade PC running the Intel Pentium IV processor and Microsoft Windows XP Operating System. When outfitted with Prism, Triton's open platform software, the FT7000 is fully XFS compliant. Triton's Prism ATM software provides banks and credit unions with a simple HTML interface for customized screen content. As a result, new web services can be easily developed and deployed across an entire network. Emulation support is also available for other ATMs assuring seamless integration into virtually any existing ATM network.
The FT7000 family can be configured at the factory to support an envelope depository with an optional envelope dispenser, a two-sided check scanner and other innovative financial service options. Additionally, all these options can be added in the field at any time without any expensive reconfiguration.
"The Prism platform provides software support for all these options, so the system is fully integrated and ready to go," said Phillips.
Whether a walk up or drive through model, the FT7000 can be retrofitted into virtually any existing through the wall opening. The FT7000 is compliant with all security standards and also features security mirrors and a camera port.
