For Skandia's bank this means becoming part of a larger IT infrastructure and therefore avoiding having to develop and maintain complicated IT systems themselves. For Nets, this contract is another important step into the Swedish banking market.

"This new contract with Nets means that we can focus our efforts and energy even more on our customers and business development. It is not only cost-saving for us, but also gives us the security of long-term IT support and great innovative energy," says Öyvind Thomassen, Skandia's bank's CEO.

"We are proud that Skandia's bank has chosen our solution. Sweden is an important growth market for Nets and this contract helps us continue our expansion into the Swedish market. It shows that Nets has solid and competitive solutions for banks in the Nordic countries," says Nets' Executive Vice President, Susanne Brønnum.

All services provided are core Card services which Nets already supplies to a large number of banks in Norway, Finland, Denmark and the Baltic countries.
