This will connect to Perseus’s new Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Galway.

The agreement with Interxion enables Perseus Telecom, to offer its award-winning services to its customers in Ireland including connectivity to the Perseus global network, with the fastest routes to Chicago, New York (QuanTA™), Brazil (LiquidPath®), London and Frankfurt.

Interxion’s Dublin facility will also connect Perseus Telecom’s customers to its new NOC and the trusted timestamp provided by its High Precision Time™ service. Perseus recently announced the creation of 25 new jobs in Galway as part of an IDA Ireland-backed expansion.

Perseus chose Interxion for a number of reasons, including Interxion’s exceptional focus on customer experience, robust reliability and flexibility to cater to its business needs.

“Companies like Perseus Telecom are attracted to Ireland because of the availability of top-class talent, and well established digital infrastructure. This results in job creation and investment in our thriving digital community. We are delighted to be working with Perseus Telecom and supporting its expansion in Ireland,” said Tanya Duncan, MD of Interxion Ireland.

“Our expansion in Ireland required a data centre service provider that could facilitate a fast and secure deployment, provide flexibility in terms of implementation and who offered competitive value. Interxion is an excellent fit for our requirements and we look forward to a long working relationship,” said Tom Proudley, Senior Vice President of Operation and Service Assurance, at Perseus Telecom.
