The mandate represents a total outsource of Interpay's pension fund's investment management and is the first Dutch pension fund client to have been won by SEI since opening an office in the region a year ago.
The pension fund was advised by investment consultant Frans Badart (IMS) and was won against stiff competition within the Dutch market. SEI will provide Interpay's pension fund with a comprehensive service proposition including a combination of asset management via the Manager of Managers process and advice including Asset Liability Modeling and guidance on the link and impact between the pension fund and corporate finance.
Commenting on the appointment, Bart Heenk, Managing Director, and Jeroen van Rooij, Sales Director of SEI Investments in the Netherlands said: "We are delighted to have won our first Dutch pension fund client under a year after opening an office in the region. This mandate is endorsement of our sophisticated investment process and innovation in providing clients with corporate modeling skills which will allow them to assess the link between the pension fund and corporate finance. The Netherlands region is an important focus for SEI and we hope to follow this land mark win with further positive developments. We look forward to working with Interpay's pension fund in achieving their objectives."
