Today, the Group provides its clients - banks and merchants - with smart, trusted and secure whatever the channel, empowering in-store, online and mobile commerce.

In this context, the Ingenico group has structured its offering around three brands operating internationally: Ingenico Smart Terminals, Ingenico Payment Services and Ingenico Mobile Solutions.

This new approach also involves Ogone, which becomes Ingenico Payment Services.

"The Ogone name changes, but our strengths remain unchanged: our unique expertise in online payments, our proximity to our customers and a driving force for innovation in managing and securing of online payments", emphasises Jurgen Verstraete, Managing Director, e-Commerce Solutions at Ingenico Payment Services. "Our new global brand will enable us to support our customers and guide them through commerce evolution on all channels, in both their domestic market and internationally. We will benefit from the leverage of a single global brand to persuade a growing number of merchants to use Ingenico Payment Services services to boost their sales."

Ogone's business is now integrated into an organisation dedicated to payment services in Europe, which includes Tunz.com, the electronic money issuer, easycash, easycash Loyalty Solutions, Germany's leader in off-line payment and loyalty solutions, and Axis, the Ingenico group's offline transaction management platform.

Through Ingenico Payment Services, Ogone will now be able to cover the whole payment value chain on all sales channels: online payment services, multi-channel payment solutions, transaction management and marketing services (loyalty, etc.). This will also enable Ogone to accelerate the geographical expansion of its online payment business where the company established itself as the European leader from its inception in 1996.

This structural change will allow greater synergies with the other group companies, thereby deploying an enhanced range of services for Ogone's customers.

Ingenico Payment Services also intends to build on its historical position in Europe to deploy its international offering.
