Cummins Allison, the leading innovator and provider of currency, coin, cheque handling solutions today announced a new addition to its coin products: Money MachineTM 2 self-service coin counter.
New features include greater overall capacity with 16 sorted bags, innovative bag management tools, counts that are more accurate than ever and a quieter, more cost-effective product. Money Machine 2 gives financial institutions more options for easily adding self-service coin counting to their business.
Greater bag capacity and bag management
Money Machine 2 coin counter is the only self-service coin machine to offer 16 sorted-bag capacity, making it easier to manage and transport coin, and providing more flexibility for coin collection and pickup. Money Machine 2 sorts coin by denominations into up to 16 high-volume bags. Bag stations roll out for easy access and changing. Tellers will appreciate the new highly visual bag management system displayed on the unit's touch screen display. Steps for changing full bags are simplified and the interactive display keeps training to a minimum.
FIs can also select a high-capacity bin unit, featuring ultra-strong polymer bins that are easy to change using Cummins Allison's lightweight dollies. Bins have been redesigned for efficient transportation and processing and feature up to a 70,000 mixed coin capacity.
Quieter operation, enhanced coin discrimination and more
- Coin counters attract new customers but the sound can disturb tellers. Money Machine 2 features quieter operation, due to new sound-deadening components throughout the machine.
- Accuracy is a critical component in coin processing. Enhanced coin discrimination technology enables Money Machine 2 counters to differentiate coin more precisely, providing more accurate totals.
- Money Machine 2's sleek, contemporary cabinet complements any lobby environment. Additional housing options include elegant stainless steel panels and/or custom graphics that reflect your brand.
Flexible choices increase profitability potential
While savvy FIs realize the value of self-service coin redemption, it's not always possible to purchase a coin counting machine. Cummins Allison now offers more procurement options to choose from so FIs can easily add this valued service to their branch.
"Self-service coin redemption is an essential service for customers and it keeps tellers focused on high-value tasks, while increasing cross-selling opportunities," said Andrew Crowson, managing director, Cummins Allison UK. "The addition of Money Machine 2 to our portfolio provides greater enhancements that FIs will appreciate. Backed by our commitment to deliver the most dependable coin-counting equipment and services, we believe Money Machine 2 allows virtually any financial institution to add coin counting services to their operation."
