We are proud to present this new value added service that will make life a little easier for foreign cardholders travelling abroad and give them the opportunity to withdraw cash directly in the currency of their card and benefit from greater visibility on their costs, says Jesper Korsskov, SVP products, Teller.

This means that an American cardholder visiting Sweden can withdraw cash in Swedish currency from an ATM and see the exact USD amount to be withdrawn from his card.
Kontanten Group is looking forward to implementing the new functionality:

The DCC service will make a significant revenue contribution for Kontanten and I am therefore very satisfied with the collaboration with Teller and the implementation of this value added service for our ATMs in Sweden and Finland, says Patrick Nordwall, CEO Kontanten Group.

The service has been tested successfully in a pilot set-up in Sweden during September and has been certified towards Visa and MasterCard.
