eClerx appoints Alan Paris to grow financial services business

eClerx, a leading knowledge and business process outsourcing firm to the global financial services industry, today announced the appointment of Alan Paris as Principal in the New York office.

In this newly-created role, Paris will manage financial services accounts and act as Global Consulting Lead. Paris will focus on growing new and existing accounts for the firm, while providing on-shore consulting services.

Reporting directly to eClerx Co-Founder and Director Anjan Malik, Paris brings more than 25 years of experience in global financial markets to the firm. Paris will work with the eClerx global client relationship and service delivery teams to expand the firm's current products and services to meet the industry's growing outsourcing needs for operations, finance, regulatory reporting and reference data management.

"Having worked in both investment banking and management consulting, he understands the client's needs from both sides of the desk. Prior to joining eClerx, Paris was Executive Director at Ernst & Young, where he led the Capital Markets Technology and Operations Transformation team. During his four years at the company, Paris focused on enhancing the firm's accounts and worked with businesses across the various sectors of the industry. Additionally, he has held senior-level positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, BearingPoint, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust Company. Paris earned his Bachelor's from Vassar College.
