The company continues to invest in exceptional talent and product innovation — focusing on the client experience and meeting the growing market demand for Portware Alpha Vision and Portware FX.

2012 has been a milestone year for Portware, as the company completed its acquisition of the technology and analytical assets of Aritas Group, Inc, and launched Portware Alpha Vision. Offered in partnership with investment banks and research brokers, Alpha Vision uses artificial intelligence to dynamically optimize algo strategy selection for mutual, pension and hedge funds. Portware's service bureau model delivers superior execution quality, end-to-end workflow automation and powerful commission optimization tools to significantly improve trading performance while maintaining and enhancing broker relationships. In addition, Portware has achieved consistently strong growth across its core business, particularly Portware FX, as clients embrace its cloud solution and enhanced TCA capabilities. As testament to its superior FX platform, Portware was recently recognized as the Best Trading Technology Vendor in the 2012 eFX Awards.

To help support the firm's global success, Portware has added key strategic talent across critical areas of the business. New team members include:

• Savyona Abel, who joins Portware's management team as Global Head of Customer Experience. A recognized expert in Execution Management Systems (EMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), rules-based computing and analytical products, Abel brings more than 20 years of extensive client service and technology experience to Portware as the firm increases its focus on the overall client experience. Winner of the 2011 Crystal Ladder Award for Wall Street Women, Abel joins Portware from Investment Technology Group (ITG), where she most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Client Services. Early in her career Abel helped develop ITG's first EMS, Quantex, as well as its OMS, Triton.

• Larry Liermann, Senior FX Sales Executive, who will drive growth for Portware's award-winning FX trading platform, Portware FX. Liermann brings deep global FX-experience to Portware, with a proven track record serving the U.S., Canadian and Latin American markets. Prior to Portware, he held senior sales roles at Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital and JP Morgan Chase, and also served as Corporate Account Manager at AFEX, Associated Foreign Exchange. Liermann began his career as an FX Trader and the London Desk Manager for MG Financial Group, later becoming its Head of Sales and Marketing for Latin America.

• Frank Decicco, a Senior Sales Executive with demonstrated success across electronic trading platforms, algorithmic solutions and high-touch equity trading. Prior to Portware, he served as Director, Sales and Trading at ITG, with a focus on front-end trading technology and integration with OMS/EMS providers for buy-side institutions. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Macgregor Financial, Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Services, and Merrill Lynch. Decicco will help extend the reach of Portware's suite of automated trading solutions, including Portware Enterprise and Alpha Vision, the industry's first and only algo optimization service bureau powered by artificial intelligence.

"Portware continues to grow and invest in our people and products s despite the challenging environment," said Alfred Eskandar, CEO of Portware. "Adding this strategic talent to our global team allows us to better focus on the customer experience and continue delivering innovative solutions to meet the impressive demands of our institutional and broker dealer client base."
