The rollout of these systems is scheduled to begin in September 2012.

Founded only one and a half year ago, Bankomat is in the process of gradually taking over the operation and management of around 2,500 ATMs belonging to Nordea, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, SEB and Swedbank. The company's aim is to ensure high system availability combined with the most efficient operation possible. For this reason, the ATM network's over ten-year-old systems will be replaced over the next few years.

"We have decided to continue a long-term successful cooperation between the banks and Wincor Nixdorf," says Stefan Bergelind, CEO at Bankomat AB. "With this order, we have won the biggest ATM deal of the last ten years in Scandinavia," reports Håcan Tiwemark, Banking manager at Wincor Nixdorf Sweden.
