GlobalPlatform today announced that Broadcom Corporation, a global innovation leader in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications, has joined the organization as an Observer Member.
Broadcom is a leading supplier of some of the most ubiquitous wireless technologies in the world and currently ranks as the most innovative semiconductor company on the Fortune 500.
Broadcom will bring a wealth of global experience in both hardware and software solutions across numerous business areas, including the mobile sector, to the organization and will support the industry in its mission to drive market adoption of harmonized industry standards.
