LSE appoints Chi-X Europe's Denzil Jenkins head, compliance and regulation

London Stock Exchange today announces the appointment of Denzil Jenkins to the role of Head of Compliance & Regulation, reporting to Xavier Rolet, CEO of London Stock Exchange Plc.

Denzil is currently Director of Regulation at the pan-European trading facility, Chi-X Europe. Denzil has over 20 years' experience in the financial sector and has held senior positions at a number of major financial organisations, including the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Deutsche Bank.

Denzil will join the London Stock Exchange in early 2012.
