After a successful rollout in the UK and the Netherlands, YourCash has now introduced its 'merchant fill proposition' in Belgium, having secured a number of key pilot sites with supermarket chains and franchises of AD Delhaize, Alvo and Intermarché.
Via YourCash's ATM service, cardholders can easily withdraw their money in non-bank locations across Belgium. In-store ATMs offer substantial advantages, such as the reduction of costs for cash banking, and improved customer service. For the pilot, YourCash and Equens will be acquiring Maestro cards. The YourCash Belgium ATM proposition will include a well-established, high-speed GPRS-enabled machine, with free set-up and high-quality service and maintenance packages.
Michel Stuijt, General Manager of Market Management at Equens: "The partnership with YourCash fits perfectly with our market approach. We are already processing card and payment transactions in Belgium. This collaboration with YourCash is therefore a logical next step in further strengthening our position. Besides the Netherlands and Italy, Belgium is the third country where Equens offers this service. We have every confidence that the collaboration marks the start of a successful rollout in Europe.
Lee Middleton, Director of Business Development at YourCash commented: "We are very excited with our entry into this market. As the only independent ATM provider to enter Belgium, our innovative proposition enables us to introduce ATMs into locations that are completely new to local cardholders, allowing convenient access to their cash. We are equally pleased to be working with Equens during this new development, as we have an established relationship in the Netherlands and we are confident that Equens will meet our international payment processing requirements in Belgium."
