Tieto has received the SwiftReady Payments 2011 label for its payment solution that is a part of Tieto's Transaction Banking services.
These services support banks' and their corporate and personal customers' payments around the world. Tieto's payment solution has been certified as SWIFTReady for over 10 consecutive years.
The SWIFT accreditation is for the highest operational standard regarding payments processing, which is an important part of the end-to-end payments processing chain in order to create a secure global channel for the interaction between financial institutions. The accreditation is proof of Tieto's capability to provide solutions that comply with the SWIFT standards allowing initiation, generation, processing, and settlement of interbank payments.
Furthermore, recently Tieto's messaging solution has received SWIFT connectivity qualification. This means that financial institutions have secure and reliable interface to various SWIFT messaging services that enable them to reach other financialinstitutions and clearing and settlement providers through various SWIFT protocols.
