To enable greater flexibility in serving customers and drive increased productivity, Release 8.1.1 features increased control over customer sessions and cashless support for non-monetary customer servicing needs.

Oracle Siebel Branch Teller is now fully integrated with Oracle Business Intelligence, simplifying and streamlining report creation for greater and more timely operational insight.

The solution features expanded general ledger transaction capabilities, as well as functionality for facilitating international wire transfers, allowing U.S.-based banks to rapidly index details for and format an international wire transfer with International Bank Account Number (IBAN) support.

In addition, pre-packaged language translations shorten the implementation time for supported languages.

Certification on newer Oracle and IBM software platforms allow users to remain current on hardware and software infrastructure and support operational efficiency.

"Even as banks expand their online and wireless presence, they remain focused on optimizing customer service and operational efficiency at the branch level," said Ashwin Goyal, group vice president, product management, Oracle Financial Services. "Oracle Siebel Branch Teller 8.1.1 gives banks new flexibility and power to provide personalized service to an increasingly diverse customer base, while streamlining branch operations and reporting."
