Citisoft alumni Mannion and Nott join E&Y asset management team

Ernst & Young has appointed two asset management specialists to continue the growth of the leading firm of professional advisers to the investment management community.

Howard Mannion joins as partner and Valerie Nott as director in the UK Asset Management arm of the business. Both previously held senior positions at Citisoft, a leading investment management consultancy.

Gillian Lofts, UK Asset Management Leader commented: "Howard and Valerie will be working closely with the Asset Management and IT Advisory teams here in the UK, providing us with a greater breadth and depth of knowledge in the asset management industry. Their experience will also be utilised by our other financial services teams. Our asset management business now has the unique combination of the level of expertise you would expect from a specialist, coupled with a truly global delivery platform."

Howard was at Citisoft for 20 years and most recently was CEO for the EMEA region. He advised clients on global application and data strategies and was responsible for delivering large transformation projects.

Valerie has worked in investment management consultancy for the last eleven years and held a business development role in Citisoft. Valerie is currently working with a third party administrator to help it compete more effectively and gain additional revenues from its middle office.
