Hillcrest Bank hMobile banking is now accessible via a convenient iPhone app.
Customers can now make routine online banking transactions via their iPhone after downloading the free app from the iTunes store. With the easy-to-use app customers can view account balances and transaction history, receive and view account alerts, transfer money between accounts and pay bills.
Nationally, 30% of smart phone users check their bank balances via their mobile phone, and 25% regularly check their credit card transactions via their smart phones. In the U.S., one in four mobile phones are smart phones.
"Customer use of Hillcrest Bank's mobile Web service rose 40% in the past 60 days with iPhones representing 28%," stated Jeffrey Wheeler, CEO, Hillcrest Bank. "Offering access to Hillcrest Bank accounts via a mobile banking platform provides better customer service for customers who prefer to handle basic banking needs via their mobile phone."
hMobile is free to Hillcrest Bank hNet online banking customers and allows access to checking, savings, CD or money market accounts. Information and transactions are securely transmitted via 128-bit SSL encryption technology.
