"We were looking for a new check image vendor and wanted to start integrating document imaging when we came across IBT. Once we saw how integrated their program was and that they had check fraud, which is obviously very important to eliminate fraud and risks, we decided to go forward with them," commented Kevin Black, President at Heartland Bank. By selecting IBT's Integrated Bank Environment, not only would the bank save money on overhead costs and increase their efficiency, but they will be able to eliminate their old branch capture system and bring everything together into a "Real Time" environment. "Going to the bank and making a deposit then immediately having access to those funds through other channels is functionality our customers wanted and we will be able to accomplish with IBT's integrated platform. Real time is the future of banking and is exactly the environment we need to move to. Our customers also wanted a receipt with every transaction. Since so many of our customers are farmers or businesses who depend on those receipts for their bookkeeping, this was a feature we insisted be included, and IBT responded with the commitment to provide just that," said Kevin Black.

Mike Golebiowski, President of Integrated Bank Technology, commented, "With all the technology available these days, financial institutions need to work with a provider that offers them total flexibility with a deliberate effort to improve products; thereby, giving our customers that competitive advantage in the market. When Heartland Bank made specific requests in regard to receipting, we quickly jumped on board to make the change. To achieve a best of breed product strategy, we have to be ready to embrace recommendations made to us by our customers and be prepared to incorporate these enhancements quickly. We seek to continue setting the standard for technology innovation in the industry with our products and we look forward to a successful partnership with Heartland Bank and its customers."
