CashEdge, the leading provider of Intelligent Money Movement services, announced today the appointment of Catherine Palmieri as Global Head of Product and Marketing.
In this role, Ms. Palmieri is responsible for setting and overseeing the execution of the Company's strategic product and marketing agenda.
Ms. Palmieri brings extensive senior management experience with leading global financial services companies. Prior to joining CashEdge, she served as Executive Vice President, General Manager, for Citibank, where she was responsible for Citibank.com, Citibank Direct, and CitiMobile. She led the transformation of Citibank.com from sales of just $14 million in 2001 to over $13 billion in 2006. While perhaps best known for her launch and management of Citibank Direct and CitiMobile, she and her retail banking technology team also delivered 11 industry firsts and won 39 industry awards during her tenure.

Ms. Palmieri also served as SVP, Marketing Services for the Retail Bank, and as Consumer Segment Leader for Citif/i. Prior to Citi, she held marketing positions at American Express, including Senior Director, Online Services of Financial Direct, which was, in 1997, one of the earliest combined online brokerage and banking initiatives in the country.
