Sylvain joined GL TRADE London in 1999 following the acquisition of FL SOFTWARE, the original provider of listed derivatives clearing software, ClearVision. Through a succession of roles, Sylvain has supervised the rise of ClearVision to its position as world leader. In 2003, Sylvain was promoted to GL TRADE's London Deputy Sales Director responsible for spearheading the promotion of GL STREAM Order Management System (OMS) integrated trading solutions.

"It is the perfect time for GL TRADE London to appoint in this leading role a professional such as Sylvain who has a combined expertise of Listed Derivatives and Equities comments Patrick Tessier, CEO of GL TRADE LNE, just as we bring to market a multi asset class OMS that covers a wide spectrum of businesses from UK equities market-making to Listed Derivatives agency. Given the constant pressure on banks and brokers’ margins, Sylvain's mission will be to offer a competitive and proficient alternative OMS in a market where choice has been restricted for too long."

In his new role, Sylvain will be supported by Simon Bennett, who is appointed Deputy Sales Director. Simon joined GL TRADE London in November 2003, following the acquisition of MSTS by GL TRADE. Simon’s commercial and operations experience and depth of knowledge of the equity trading and settlement markets will be a continued asset to Sylvain and GL TRADE.
