Bursa Malaysia names Lim Jit Jee CIO

Bursa Malaysia Berhad today announced the appointment of Lim Jit Jee as its Chief Information Officer (CIO) who will head the Technology Group effective 15 September 2008.

As CIO, Lim's responsibilities will cover both strategic and operational levels of IT Strategy and Policy, IT Management and Managing Change (i.e. managing all new IT system development projects, systems upgrades and change requests). In addition to this, Lim is also appointed as a new member of the Management Committee.

Lim has more than 20 years of diverse experience in the Securities industry. He has served the Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia (ASCM), since January 2006 to May 2008, as an Executive Director. He has taken on many roles, ranging from developing businesses, securities operational role, managing critical projects, advisory and consultancy roles in previous work engagements.

Prior to this, Lim was the Head of Exchange Operations at Bursa Malaysia.
