Experian appoints Paulsen general manager of database business

Experian, the global information services company, is proud to announce the hiring of Joseph M. Paulsen as senior vice president and general manager of its Integrated Marketing Services (IMS) business.

Joe's responsibilities include leading the strategic direction of IMS by leveraging Experian's vast data resources which provide marketers with a better understanding of their best customers, the ability to find new prospects, forecast new locations and markets, and measure marketing value.

Prior to joining Experian, Joe was the general manager of Fair Isaac's Marketing Services Business and had full P&L responsibility for their multi-channel marketing database business. While there, he improved operating performance, increased revenue by 15 percent and grew margins by 200 percent in a short period of time. He also served as director of operations for Consulting Services and was a member of FICO's executive committee. Prior to running Fair Isaac's Marketing Services business, Joe held various executive positions and was a consulting partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Joe received his bachelor's of science degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and his master's of science in business administration from the University of Chicago. Based out of the Schaumburg facility, Joe is a longtime Chicagoland resident, currently living in Lake Forest, Illinois, with his wife Lynette and two children, 14 yr old Clay and 12 yr old Emily.
