TietoEnator names Arto Ryymin EVP, healthcare and welfare

Arto Ryymin (born 1964) has been appointed Executive Vice President of TietoEnator's Healthcare & Welfare business area and member of the company's Corporate Management Team (CMT) as of 1 June.

He holds an MSc degree in Information Technology from the University of Turku.

Ryymin will replace Juhani Kaisanlahti who has worked as acting EVP, Healthcare & Welfare since August 2007. Kaisanlahti will assume new duties within the company before his retirement.

Arto Ryymin has been working in TietoEnator and its predecessors since 1989 in different positions within the Healthcare & Welfare business area. He has had a central role in developing TietoEnator's ICT solutions business for the healthcare and welfare sectors, and in growing the business area into the leading player in its core markets in the Nordic region. Ryymin's most recent positions include Senior Vice President and Deputy President of the business area and Vice President responsible for the business area's R&D operations.
