The Board's current Deputy Chairman Anders Ullberg (born 1946) has been appointed as the new Chairman and Board member Olli Riikkala (born 1951) as Deputy Chairman as of 8 May 2008. Ullberg has been member of the Board since 1999 and Riikkala since 2004.

The reason for Matti Lehti's resignation is the need to reduce the amount of work due to a mild coronary trombosis that he suffered last year.

Matti Lehti worked as the President and CEO of TietoEnator in 1989-2005. He has been a member of the Board since 1988 and the Chairman since 2006. Between 1989 and 2008, TietoEnator's market value has grown from EUR 30 million to EUR 1.2 billion.
