Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) is offering consumers a $250 incentive for the purchase of new residential photovoltaic solar energy systems, hosting a sweepstake to encourage customers to bank online, and expanding its Wells Fargo Rewards program to include a line of eco-friendly options.

Consumers who purchase a new residential photovoltaic solar energy system using their Wells Fargo home equity loan or line of credit account can qualify for a $250 Wells Fargo Visa Gift Card. The offer is available through Dec. 31, 2008.
