Stephen Wright named CEO of International Financial Services London
International Financial Services London (IFSL), a membership organisation which represents the UK financial services industry, and is backed by the industry, the City Corporation and UKTI, today announced that Sir Stephen Wright has been appointed its new Chief Executive Officer.

Sir Stephen was most recently British Ambassador to Spain and has wide experience in international diplomacy and business promotion in a range of roles in Europe, Asia and the US.
Announcing the appointment, Lord Levene Chairman of IFSL said: "I am delighted that Sir Stephen has agreed to join as CEO. I believe that IFSL will benefit considerably from his wide experience and of particular value will be his in depth knowledge of the workings of the EU in Brussels."
Sir Stephen said: "Having spent many years promoting the UK in markets around the world, I am proud now to be representing the jewel in the UK crown - the financial services sector. London is the leading financial centre in the world and I am looking forward to leading IFSL in its contribution to strengthening this position even further."
