Atrium Network, the leading supplier of scalable connectivity solutions exclusively to the financial market, today responded to recent sales growth across Europe with the appointment of Eryl Jones as Sales Manager, UK and Northern Europe.
Eryl's appointment comes on the back of increased sales of Atrium Network's flexible solutions in the region.
"London occupies a central role in the global financial markets, and our existing and prospective clients are looking to us to provide a wider range of services in London to help them in their business," says Emmanuel Pellé, Director of Sales & Marketing, Atrium Network. "Our clients are facing major changes:- increasing volume and complexity of electronic trading, seeking more electronic client/broker connectivity, conforming with MIFID and Basel II, looking for integrated Voice over IP on their turrets, - and with the appointment of Eryl to our London office we will be able to devote more attention to our London clients."
Eryl brings over 20 years of financial services sales experience to Atrium Network and will be responsible for driving the company's London and Northern Europe sales initiatives. In addition, he will be working closely with Atrium Network's existing European Sales team, and the New York office.
In Eryl's previous roles he has led and supported major sales initiatives and business development sales projects in London and Europe. He brings with him extensive finance experience, having spent a number of years managing international programs for high profile finance clients at BT Radianz. Prior to this role, Eryl held senior sales roles at Colt Telecom and Reuters.
"Working in this industry for a number of years, you gain an understanding of how good communications technology can transform the business of a variety of organizations in the financial marketplace," says Eryl Jones, Sales Manager, UK and Northern Europe. "What drew me to Atrium Network was the strength of its technology and its dedication to meeting the unique needs of the finance marketplace. I'm looking forward to furthering Atrium's market penetration and helping organizations achieve the benefits of improved scalability, ease of use and value for money."
"Eryl will be an asset to Atrium's London activities as he has extensive experience in working in and around investment banks, exchanges, brokers and buy-side traders and has an in-depth knowledge of their needs, developed over a number of years in the industry," continues Emmanuel Pellé, Director of Sales & marketing.
