CreditExpert works by sending members an e-mail or SMS text alert whenever there is a significant change on their Experian credit report. Yahoo! users can then have unlimited online access to their most up-to-date credit report to see exactly what changes have taken place. CreditExpert provides the most effective means of protection against identity fraud, now the UK's fastest growing crime1, costing £1.34 billion a year.
Yahoo! users will also benefit from co-branded content within the new Credit Reports’ section in Yahoo! Personal Finance. In addition, there will be high-impact ad placements throughout the Yahoo! site, such as banners and skyscrapers, which will link directly to Experian's co-branded CreditExpert site.
The CreditExpert service will be available to Yahoo! Personal Finance visitors at an annual fee of £49.99 and provides them with:
A free online Experian credit report and 30-day free trial for new members Unlimited access to their credit reportWeekly alerts by e-mail or SMS text of significant changes to their reportFinancial tools and tips to help manage their personal credit historyAn online quarterly newsletter on the latest credit and identity fraud issuesFreephone access to credit reference specialistsA 90-day pro-rota money-back guaranteeThe option to order their National Credit Score – exclusive to CreditExpert members
