Essentials comes in two packages, both aimed at supporting companies as they grow and their needs change.

Essentials Start-Up is for the smallest businesses. CyberSource provides access to an order page to make it as simple as possible for the merchant begin taking orders online. This "hosted" order page will enable the merchant to begin taking online orders quickly, without the need for potentially time-consuming integration and testing--it should also ease the job of compliance with Payment Card Industry security standards.

Essentials is designed for small to medium businesses with higher transaction volumes. In addition to the CyberSource-provided order page, merchants can integrate their systems directly with CyberSource's payment processing network. This enables support for more e-commerce platforms; real-time processing; and the ability to use data from multiple sources (such as a CRM package and a stock control system) in a more customisable payment page. Merchants can also choose from a range of more advanced services including fraud screening and risk management tools, payer authentication and subscription billing.

Pricing for Essentials Start-up begins at £40 per month.
