Eagle Investment Systems Corp. today announced that Alberta Investment Management, a department of the government of the Province of Alberta, has deployed Eagle's Web-based portfolio management solution for enhanced data management and investment reporting. Alberta Investment Management has approximately $40 (CAD) billion in assets under management.
Assisted by Eagle Professional Services, Alberta Investment Management has implemented Eagle PACE, a data hub and portfolio management system, and Eagle Portal, a Web-based information delivery vehicle.
Combined with its existing trade order management and investment accounting solutions, Eagle's solutions are assisting Alberta Investment Management in reporting on investment data for all of its asset classes including equity, fixed income and its derivatives portfolio. Additionally, the "see-through reporting" functionality capabilities of Eagle PACE are enabling Alberta Investment Management to report on exposure from derivative securities, through pools, to the total fund level.
