Ignite is an exclusive, high-impact incubator designed to support just one fintech at a time over a tailored 3-6 month programme. This highly personalised approach ensures startups receive hands-on guidance, strategic partnerships, and the flexibility to meet their individual needs.

The first two cohorts have already demonstrated the programme’s value:
• Credit Canary - A credit decision platform now collaborating with credit unions nationwide and securing £600k in pre-seed funding.
• Money Squirrel - A savings automation platform for small businesses and accountants, which has raised £185k in pre-seed funding.

“The Ignite programme was exactly what we needed when we needed it” shares Andreea Daly, Founder of Money Squirrel and Ignite alumnus “It was tailored to what would have the most impact, and it truly accelerated our growth. It opened doors to conversations I would have never had access to.”

Ignite transforms disruptive fintech ideas into thriving businesses through:
* Tailored Support - Hands-on validation of market fit, lean solution design, and go-to-market strategy. Support also includes a cash injection (, co-working space, and technology resources.
* Strategic Partnerships - Direct access to SHIFT’s 220+ fintechs and Woodhursts 600+ industry leaders, connecting startups with investors, partners and financial institutions.
* Expert Mentorship - Guidance from top fintech leaders, including Oliver Parsons (Head of Innovation, Lloyds), James Varga (ex-founder, DirectID), and Johnnie Martin (Investor, Augmentum Fintech).

After the application period, the Ignite team will connect with shortlisted applicants to explore their ideas in detail. While only one fintech will be selected, SHIFT remains committed to supporting the broader fintech community and exploring ways to help all applicants.
If you're ready to turn your fintech concept into reality, apply now! Ignite welcomes applications from early-stage fintechs.

Kyle Masterson, Head of SHIFT and Co-founder of Ignite, states: “This programme aims to support bold fintech entrepreneurs with on-the-ground and practical support to take action that will move finance forward.”
